Cathedral of Christ the Saviour Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church temple in the world. This temple is thanksgiving for saved Russia from Napoleon's invasion in 1812 builded by Tsar Aleksander I. Following the 1917 Russian Revolution , the USSR's official state atheism resulted in the 1921-1928 anti-religious campaign church was destroyed, but in 2000 it was rebuilded. Today it's beautifull Church next to moscow river. It's a center of religion's ceremonials in Russia. Cathedra can accomodate over 10 000 people. Floor has 6000m^2 and in highest point building has 103 m. The inner sanctum of the church is ringed by a two-floor gallery, its walls inlaid with rare sorts of marble, granite, and other stones.
